How Passive Solar Design Can Reduce Your Energy Bill

A FREE workshop exploring the various factors involved in creating an energy efficient home

When designing a new home, integrating energy efficiency and solar considerations from the very earliest stages can create a lasting impact.

It’s no secret our homes are getting smarter, more connected and more energy-efficient. Solar panels added to a newly-built home can help to make a difference, but solar panels are only part of a truly energy-efficient home.

The team from Synergy are hosting a FREE workshop on solar passive design at Home Base on Saturday 4 August from 11am – 12pm.

Energy Solutions Manager at WA energy retailer Synergy, Aidon Thomas, will provide his expert advice regarding the things to consider when building a home to allow for Solar. The workshop covers block orientation and working with an architect to make the most of natural heating and cooling in the layout, why it’s important to correctly size a solar system, the factors that can impact on savings and more.

Plus – just for attending, you have the chance to win a $100 Visa gift card, thanks to Synergy!

Register for the workshop online via our website here or get in touch with the Home Base Welcome Desk on 9388 1088.
