When designing a new home, integrating energy efficiency and solar considerations from the very earliest stages can create a lasting impact.
It’s no secret our homes are getting smarter, more connected and more energy-efficient. Solar panels added to a newly-built home can help to make a difference, but solar panels are only part of a truly energy-efficient home.
The team from Synergy are hosting a FREE workshop on solar passive design at Home Base on Saturday 19 May from 11am – 12pm.
New Energy Lead at WA energy retailer Synergy, Aidon Thomas, will provide his expert advice regarding the things to consider when building a home to allow for Solar. The workshop covers block orientation and working with an architect to make the most of natural heating and cooling in the layout, why it’s important to correctly size a solar system, the factors that can impact on savings and more.
To register, call the Home Base Welcome Desk on 9388 1088 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us the name/s (first name and surname) of those attending.
